Feasibility of Learning Through Microsoft Teams Application at Kota Marudu Community College, Sabah

This study aims to identify the perception of students of Kolej Komuniti Kolej Komuniti Marudu, Sabah (KKKMS) about the learning experience and the obstacles faced in using the Microsoft Teams application in teaching and learning. A total of 70 KKKMS students from all programs were taken as study respondents. This study was conducted using a questionnaire as a research instrument and the data was analyzed descriptively and inferentially. Data analysis was processed using Statistical Packages for Social Sciences for Windows Version 22.0 (SPSS) software and the results of the study were reported in the form of mean, standard deviation, percentage and T-Test". The results show that the level of perception of the Microsoft Teams Official application learning experience is high (mean 3.66). Barriers were tested in six aspects where there were four main barriers faced which were the highest technological barriers (mean 3.52), the second highest were situational barriers (mean 3.40), the third were learning style barriers (mean 3.26) and the fourth highest barrier was instructional barriers (mean 3.11). The findings also found that there is no significant relationship between learning experiences and the obstacles faced by students.
Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenalpasti persepsi pelajar Kolej Komuniti Kota Marudu, Sabah (KKKMS) tentang pengalaman pembelajaran dan halangan-halangan yang dihadapi dalam penggunaan aplikasi Microsoft Teams dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran. Seramai 70 orang pelajar KKKMS dari semua program diambil sebagai responden kajian. Kajian ini dijalankan dengan menggunakan borang soal selidik sebagai instrumen kajian dan data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan inferensi. Data analisis diproses menggunakan perisian Statistical Packages for Social Sciences for Windows Version 22.0 (SPSS) dan hasil dapatan kajian dilaporkan dalam bentuk min, sisihan piawaian, peratusan dan Ujian T-Test”. Hasil dapatan menunjukkan tahap persepsi pengalaman pembelajaran aplikasi Microsoft Teams Official adalah tinggi (min 3.66). Halangan diuji dalam enam aspek dimana terdapat empat halangan utama yang dihadapi iaitu tertinggi halangan teknologi (min 3.52), kedua tertinggi halangan situasi (min 3.40), ketiga halangan gaya pembelajaran (min 3.26) dan halangan keempat tertinggi adalah halangan arahan (min 3.11). Dapatan juga mendapati tidak terdapatnya hubungan yang signifikan antara pengalaman pembelajaran dengan halanganhalangan yang dihadapi pelajar.
