FAKTOR PENGARUH TARAF KEHIDUPAN ASNAF DI BAWAH PROGRAM PRIHATIN ASNAF MASJID LAMA PERMATANG BADAK, KUANTAN

Affecting Factor the Standard of Life of Asnaf under the Care Program of Asnaf Masjid Lama Permatang Badak, Kuantan

Abstract

Post covid has seen changes to the standard of living of the community due to the effects of covid 19 which hit Malaysia for about two years. The researcher was called to do a study on the factors that affect the standard of living of asnaf under the asnaf care program of the Masjid Lama Permatang Badak (MLPB), Kuantan Pahang. This study aims to see to what extent the factors that lead to poverty mentioned in Kitab al-Adab written by Al-Habib Zain Bin Ibrahim correspond to the situation of Asnaf itself. Through the book, page 324, no. 34, entitled Manners When Poor and Rich under the sub topic "Manners When Poor" which lists 14 factors that can lead to poverty. Is the list of 14 factors found in MLPB zakat recipients or vice versa. For the purpose of this study, the researcher has tried to build an instrument in the form of a questionnaire prepared from the 14 factors stated in the book. This preliminary study was conducted on 30 asnaf selected to fill out the questionnaire. The results of the questionnaire that was developed found that 14 factors that lead to poverty have a basis. However, due to the processing of the questionnaire which is still at an early stage and the form filling method by the asnaf is not perfect, the researcher found that the findings of this study can still be improved. The suggested improvements are better processing or updating of questionnaires, a larger number of asnafs and a method or guide for filling in questionnaires by asnafs who are more thorough and respondent-friendly.

Pasca covid telah menyaksikan perubahan terhadap taraf kehidupan masyarakat disebabkan kesan COVID 19 yang melanda Malaysia selama lebih kurang dua tahun. Pengkaji terpanggil untuk membuat satu kajian terhadap faktor yang mempengaruhi taraf kehidupan asnaf di bawah program prihatin asnaf Masjid Lama Permatang Badak (MLPB), Kuantan Pahang. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk melihat sejauhmana faktor-faktor yang membawa kemiskinan yang disebut dalam Kitab al-Adab karangan Al-Habib Zain Bin Ibrahim menepati situasi Asnaf itu sendiri. Melalui kitab tersebut muka surat 324, no 34, bertajuk Adab Ketika Dalam Keadaan Miskin dan Kaya di bawah sub topik “Adab ketika dalam Keadaan Miskin” yang menyenaraikan 14 faktor yang boleh membawa kepada kemiskinan. Adakah senarai 14 faktor tersebut terdapat dalam diri para asnaf zakat MLPB atau sebaliknya. Bagi tujuan kajian ini pengkaji telah berusaha membina instrument berupa soal selidik hasil olahan dari 14 faktor yang dinyatakan dalam Kitab tersebut. Kajian peringkat awal ini dilakukan kepada 30 asnaf terpilih untuk mengisi borang soal selidik tersebut. Hasil dapatan dari soal selidik yang dibangunkan tersebut di dapati 14 faktor yang membawa kemiskinan tersebut mempunyai asasnya. Namun, oleh kerana pengolahan soal selidik yang masih diperingkat awal dan kaedah pengisian borang oleh asnaf yang kurang sempurna, maka pengkaji mendapati dapatan kajian ini masih boleh ditambah baik. Penambahbaikan yang dicadangkan ialah dengan pengolahan atau kemaskini soalan soal selidik yang lebih baik, bilangan asnaf yang lebih ramai dan kaedah atau panduan mengisi borang soal selidik oleh asnaf yang lebih tuntas dan mesra responden.
