About the Journal

International Journal of Software Engineering and Computer Systems (IJSECS) is an international, peer-reviewed platinum open-access journal published by the Faculty of Computing, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) Malaysia. This means that all content is freely available without any embargo or charge to the user(s) or institution(s). Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any lawful purpose as long as proper acknowledgement is given to the authors of the original work, without asking prior permission from the author or publisher. The journal's scope is multi-disciplinary to bring together sustainable energy, materials science, and engineering aspects.

IJSECS publishes original full-length research articles on applied and fundamental aspects of software engineering and computer systems, advancements in synthesis, processing, characterisation, testing, software design, and technological applications, focusing on contributions that bridge the knowledge gap. Review articles that address significant challenges in the field and critical reviews that address and minimise knowledge gaps, provide good direction, or provide a valuable guide to the readers are encouraged to submit.

The focus is on original research utilising the analytical, numerical, modelling, and experimental methods, in all areas of computing, including machine learning & optimization, visual simulation, cyber-security, computational linguistic, modelling & simulation, database technology, educational technology, and image processing.

IJSECS is a non-profit publication supported by University Malaysia Pahang Publishing (Penerbit Universiti Malaysia Pahang). Universiti Malaysia Pahang Publishing is committed to genuine open access for scholarly content, extending this commitment to authors as a service to the research community.

The International Journal of Software Engineering and Computer Systems does not charge for article submission or processing. The Information & Communication Technology Centre, Universiti Malaysia Pahang supports the archiving and backup of scholarly content on the Digital Commons platform.
