Journal of Chemical Engineering and Industrial Biotechnology is an international, peer-reviewed platinum open-access journal published by Universiti Malaysia Pahang, Malaysia. All content is freely available without embargo or charge to the user(s) or institution(s). The journal's scope covers the areas of reaction engineering, advanced materials, separation process, transport phenomena, process systems engineering, environmental engineering, industrial biotechnology, and bioprocess engineering.

Journal of Chemical Engineering and Industrial Biotechnology publishes original full-length research articles that provide significant new findings from scientific investigation, review articles that address significant challenges and knowledge gaps, or provide a valuable guide to the readers.
