AIMS AND SCOPE
Current Science and Technology (CST), published by UMPSA Press (eISSN 2785-8804), promotes the advancement of both pure and applied sciences through the dissemination of rigorous and reproducible research, thereby translating fundamental laboratory findings into practical applications in industrial, environmental, and biomedical fields. The journal aims to bring discovery and practical application closer together: we prioritise work that bridges the gap between understanding mechanisms and applying them on a larger, evidence-based practice, and that strengthens interdisciplinary and sustainable innovations across chemistry, biotechnology, materials, and environmental science. CST supports academic researchers, postgraduate students, industry R&D scientists, technologists, and biotechnologists who are working at the exciting intersection of laboratory science and applied technology. To align submissions with the journal's mission, CST does not consider purely clinical medical studies, drug trials, or patient-care research lacking contributions to chemical, materials, or biotechnological sciences. It also excludes articles in engineering design, computer science, mathematics, or social sciences where natural science advancement is incidental. Studies reporting routine use of established methods without new insights, data, and innovation are also not considered. Purely theoretical or simulation work without validation and an application pathway will be rejected. Manuscripts outside these themes and criteria will be returned without review.
