About the Journal

The CONSTRUCTION (e-ISSN: 2785-8731) is an international, peer-reviewed platinum open-access journal published by the Faculty of Civil Engineering Technology at the Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah, Kuantan, Malaysia. This means that all content is freely available without any embargo or charge to the user(s) or institution(s). Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any lawful purpose as long as proper acknowledgement is given to the authors of the original work, without asking prior permission from the author or publisher. The journal's scope is set to be multi-disciplinary to bring together sustainable construction, advanced materials, engineering and technology aspects.

CONSTRUCTION publishes original full-length research articles on applied and fundamental aspects of advanced and biomaterials in civil engineering construction. Review articles that address significant challenges in the field and critical reviews that clearly address and minimise knowledge gaps, provide good information, or provide a valuable guide to the readers are encouraged to submit.

The focus is on original research utilising the advanced materials, engineering structures, frontier in hydraulics and hydrology, geotechnical engineering, project management, highway and transportation engineering, and applications of geoinformatics in civil construction.

In addition to serving as a valuable resource of multi-disciplinary aspect and materials for researchers, the journal also addresses developing and emerging issues such as sustainable construction and advances in frontier materials. It also facilitates researchers with the application of alternative materials solutions to current practices.

CONSTRUCTION is a non-profit publication supported by the Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Press (UMPSA Press). The UMPSA Press commitment to genuine open access to scholarly content extends to authors as a service to the research community.
