AIMS AND SCOPE

JMMST publishes original full-length research articles on applied and fundamental aspects of manufacturing processes, computer-integrated manufacturing systems, human factors, manufacturing automation, operations research, sustainability, smart manufacturing, green manufacturing and automation, focusing on contributions that bridge the knowledge gap between manufacturing, materials and systems. Review articles that address significant challenges in the field and critical reviews that address and minimise knowledge gaps, provide good direction, or provide a valuable guide to the readers are encouraged to submit.

The focus is on original research utilising the analytical, numerical, modelling, and experimental methods, in all areas of manufacturing systems and materials science, including production, storage, consumption, optimisation, enabling technologies, ecological impacts and economics.

In addition to serving as a valuable resource for multi-disciplinary manufacturing systems and materials science researchers, the journal also addresses developing and emerging issues such as concurrent engineering and sustainable manufacturing. It also facilitates researchers in systems reliability engineering and maintenance analysis.
