About the Journal

The Sustainable Energy and Advanced Materials (SEAM) is an international, peer-reviewed platinum open-access journal published by the College of Engineering at Universiti Malaysia Pahang, Kuantan, Malaysia. The journal's scope is multi-disciplinary to bring together sustainable energy, materials science, and engineering aspects.

SEAM publishes original full-length research articles on applied and fundamental aspects of sustainable energy, advancements in synthesis, processing, characterisation, testing, design of materials, and technological applications, focusing on contributions that bridge the knowledge gap between materials and energy carriers. Review articles that address significant challenges in the field and critical reviews that clearly address and minimise knowledge gaps, provide good direction, or provide a valuable guide to the readers are encouraged to submit.

The focus is on original research utilising the analytical, numerical, modelling, and experimental methods, in all areas of Sustainable Energy and Frontier Materials, including production, storage, transmission, consumption, optimisation, enabling technologies, ecological impacts, economic and global aspects of energy carriers.

In addition to serving as a valuable resource for multi-disciplinary energy and materials researchers, the journal also addresses developing and emerging issues such as sustainable energy sources, efficiency, storage, and advances in frontier materials. It also facilitates researchers in the application of alternative energy solutions to current practices.
